Company Profile

Flame Williamson School Of Tae Kwon Do has proven to be the best in the business. With over 30 years of experience (14 years in the Matthews community), we have the ability and experience to train and develop anyone who is willing and have the initiative to learn self defense. The Master Instructor Flame Williamson who is currently the President of the United Karate Federation has trained and promoted many Black Belts who have later become top rated competitors as well as successful Instructors. One of which is Mark Slocum who is a fourth degree Black Belt Instructor who leads the popular "Don't Talk To Strangers" (DTTS) Self Defense Program with over 10 years of training and teaching the combined art of Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do. This program specializes in training children between the ages of 5 and 12 years of age. Incorporated in the teachings and his expertise, Mark has promoted a very exciting program call "Karate Night Out" which gives children the opportunity to learn Self Defense and have some really cool fun while the parents are having a night out on the town. This provides the parents a piece of mind knowing that their child(ren) is in a safe environment and are enjoying themselves while learning something new and exciting!
